Happy New Year!

January 4, 2009 by dunk1986

Happy New Year to everyone!  With the New Year we are thrilled to bring you a new site for you to check in with us and see how we are and what we are doing.

We continue to minister at AIM’s Retirement Center, also known as “Media”.  We get asked by many “what does Media stand for?”  Well it means “middle ground” to the many retired missionaries who reside here.  They are between their past ministry and heaven.  Praise the Lord for the many that have served Him so faithfully.  We are honored to be a part of their lives and learn from them.  Their stories are amazing and filled with God’s faithfulness.

Rich is involved in maintenance, some construction and grounds work.  He enjoys helping the missionaries in the various requests they have for the maintenance crew.

I, Janice, help in whatever way I can.  We have a creative arts day where we scrapbook, collate newsletters, or learn new crafts for our homes.  Everyone who attends seem to go home with a joyful heart.  I also continue as church secretary for Minneola Alliance Church in town.  This keeps me busy and I enjoy having people stop in to just chat from time to time.

Zachary is in 7th grade and is being homeschooled.  He loves video games and computers.  He is a happy 13 year old and loves life.

Hopefully I will be able to keep you updated as the New Year continues.  Blessings to you all and may you have a great January.

Janice for Rich and Zachary
